LUCINDA, NORTH QLD - Week #35

We reversed the route and now travelling clockwise. We’ll see what happens down the path, pun intended, when we arrive to Gold Coast. We’ll re-evaluate the situation and decide where to next. For now, Queensland is so lovely and offers so many am-ah-zing places that we are thoroughly enjoying this trip. When we travelled north, we skipped so many great locations that we are now getting the opportunity to visit. Silver lining indeed.

Stayed at another privately owned land, that was just a hop, skip and a jump away from another awesome kiting spot. Lucinda. Small town, about 400 people live there and is most known for its sugar export and incredibly long jetty, almost 6km long! No need to ask, you can't walk on it as it's a sugar transport conveyor.

We love exploring the sandy beaches during low tide. You never know what creatures you’re going to find.

During high tide it was time to kite. And luck had it, it was super windy and we had the bay all to ourselves. How good is that?!

Here’s the link to the kiting beach report that we made: https://www.windchasers.com.au/.../lucinda-beach-far...
